Thank you to everyone who attended our Diamond Jubilee celebration on Saturday 2 June. A big thank you for cooperating with our request to walk to the rec. and to use the waste and recycling bins provided.

The Parish Council would like to express its gratitude to the following groups and individuals:

Scouts, Guides, Brownies, Rainbows and the Fete Committee for catering and bar.

Mark Relf for providing transport.

Terra Firma Sound for stage trussing, sound and lights.

The Stoke Poges School for loaning their stage and allowing us to use their playground for the fireworks.

Vic Bunby for compering.

The Village Fete Committee for their donation toward the cost of the fireworks.

John Orchard for directing the People’s Choir and the plucky singers who performed with merit.

Jean Orchard for bringing her dancers.

All the volunteers who set up and dismantled everything and who marshalled and emptied bins throughout the day.

Our neighbourhood PCSOs, Kam and Bill who provided friendly policing support throughout the day.
