Leader of Bucks County Council Martin Tett has responded to a Government minister’s claim that it has been in discussion with local authorities about the siting of a garden city. Weekend newspaper reports suggested that a location ‘near Gerrards Cross’ was proposed.

Mr Tett has denied any dialogue with Central Government about garden cities and has reaffirmed the County Council’s opposition to inappropriate development of the Green Belt.
