STOKE POGES PARISH COUNCIL

THE LIONEL RIGBY ROOM AT
THE VILLAGE CENTRE, ROGERS LANE,
STOKE POGES.

MINUTES
188/PC/15 – Police
Report from the police was tabled.
189/PC/15 – Public Session Time (7.30 pm-7.45 pm)
The meeting is open to the public and press and fifteen minutes will be reserved, if required, for public comment.

190/PC/15 – Apologies for Absence
APOLOGIES were received from The Police, Cllr Matthews, Cllr Taylor and Cllr Egleton.
191/PC/15 – Declarations of interest
Members to declare any personal interest in any item of business as defined in the Code of Conduct 2012. If that interest is a disclosable pecuniary interest as defined in the Code; the member should withdraw from the meeting for that item.
Cllr Bagge declared an interest in item 196. As a member of the SBDC Planning Committee he would chair this item but would not express views or take part in any vote.
192/PC/15 – Minutes
RESOLVED to approve the minutes of the Council meeting held on 9 February 2015 which were signed by the Chairman.
193/PC/15 – County Councillor’s Report
Councillor Egleton not present.
194/PC/15 – District Councillors’ Report
Cllr Smith reported that the current leader of the District Council Adrian Busby would not be re-standing this year. The Lanes Golf Club had been broken into! The Chairman’s reception held at Stoke Park was attended by Dominic Grieve MP QC
Cllr Bagge reported that he had attended a LAF meeting and Planning meeting.
195/PC/15 – Chairman’s Update from last meeting.

196/PC/15 – Khalsa School
Cllr Carter reported and confirmed that the Court Case was off, and that the Secretary of State had admitted that they would have lost the case, and have agreed to pay our costs, and have agreed to re-determine the decision on overturning the Appeal recommendation. Dominic Grieve MP QC has written to Eric Pickles but not yet had a response.
197/PC/15 – Working Group for Community Pavilion Design Project
Update from working group and on meeting held with uniformed groups.
A three phase electric supply is required and had been ordered. The uniformed groups have agreed to pay £100 per term per group to be reviewed after the first year.
198/PC/15 – Sefton Close Parking/Hollybush Hill Parking/Vine Road
It was agreed by all to send letters to all residents of affected roads as was done for Hollybush Hill before making any decision on what to do next. It was noted that the residents of Hollybush Hill have now stopped parking on the grass.
199/PC/15 – MVAS Rota
Deferred until April 2015
200/PC/15 – MUGA
Cllr Bagge with the help of Stoke Park has secured a visit from Sir Matthew Pinsent on Saturday 28th March at 10am to officially open the MUGA. It was agreed to purchase a commemorative plaque for him to unveil.
201/PC/15 – Flooding/Bells Hill Recreation Ground
Report to be tabled from surveyor on possible ways forward, to discuss and decide a way forward.
Report not ready yet so deferred until April 2015. Agreed that money is available from the MUGA budget to pay for the works.
202/PC/15 – Bells Hill Green
Update of legal proceedings with Lease.
This is still ongoing bring back to April 2015.
203/PC/15 – Portable Defibrillator
Request from PS Lucy Price to consider for the village.
Agreed to monitor the ones already in place in Chalfont St. Peter and Iver for three months then bring back for further discussion. To investigate funding availability from British Heart Foundation.
204/PC/15 – WW1 Memorial
Update from Councillor Carter.
Nothing to report defer until April 2015.
205/PC/15 – Election
NOTED that papers are now available from SBDC to download. Deadline for returning them is 9 April 2015 at 4pm.
206/PC/15 – Reception
Clarified arrangements for 20 March 2015.
207/PC/15 – South Bucks Local Plan (2014-2036)
NOTED consultation is open and documents are available to view in the Clerk’s office.

(1) Planning – Stoke Park got planning permission. Acoustic Fencing at Pioneer House to be determined on 1 April 2015, Sefton Close, 2 applications got permission, 1 refused.
