001/RE/15 To Elect a Chairman for R&E for the coming year 15/16.
002/RE/15 To Elect a Vice Chairman for R&E for the coming year 15/16.
003/RE/15 Items by Members of Public Present 7.30pm-7.45pm The meeting is open to the public and press and the first 15 minutes will be reserved, if required, for public comment.
004/RE/15 Apologies for absence.
005/RE/15 Declarations of interest Members to declare any personal interest in any item of business as defined in the Code of Conduct 2012. If that interest is a prejudicial interest as defined in the Code; the Member should withdraw from the meeting for that item.
006/RE/15 Minutes To approve the minutes of the R&E Committee held on 23 February 2015 (previously distributed)
007/RE/15 Football Bells Hill To note that Stoke Rovers and Wycombe Wanderers Ladies teams both intend on returning to the Bells Hill facilities in August 15. To agree to meet with the managers of each team pre-season to explain how to upkeep the pavilion. To note that the new lease will be signed before they return, the same as the uniformed groups lease, but to decide on rent costs for both teams and agree if what was budgeted in November 14 is the final amount for this season. To discuss and decide on work requested from the football clubs to get the pitch in shape before the new season. (copy circulated). To note enquiries have come in for using the Plough Lane football pitch, clerk has explained that pitch marking can be done by us but will be charged on to the teams, and that they must provide their own goal nets. To decide on an amount to charge per game if they decide to use it.
008/RE/15 Nettleship Wood Update and any decisions to be made on Nettleship Wood in general. To note all drainage work and ditch work now complete at Nettleship Wood, and now it is ongoing maintenance that needs to take place from next year as agreed to keep it good.
009/RE/15 Bells Hill and Plough Lane Recreation Grounds Dog Fouling – To note that litter picks have doubled and will continue during the months of April through to August as agreed, no reports of dog fouling so far this spring/summer. Flooding – Update from Cllr Carter and to discuss and decide a way forward. To note RoSPA inspections have been carried out and reports received. To agree any works arising from the reports, and to note that the baby swings in Bells Hill have three years life left in them maximum so to agree to budget for replacement.
010/RE/15 Allotments Update from Cllr Carter regarding water table issues and allotments in general. No meeting took place with an expert, however the situation has got better. To discuss and decide how to move forward and make any decisions on spending to sort the flooding out, and to decide whether or not to pay for an invoice given to the clerk from an allotment holder for drainage piping which the Parish Council had not authorised.
011/RE/15 Best Kept Village Deferred from last meeting.
012/RE/15 Working Party for Xmas Lights Ceremony/Bells Hill Green To note that feeder pillar and electricity supply is being organised. To resolve to agree the cost of the feeder pillar, quote to be tabled.
