MINUTES OF THE ANNUAL MEETING OF THE STOKE POGES PARISH COUNCIL HELD ON MONDAY 08 MAY 2017 AT 7.30 P.M. IN THE LIONEL RIGBY ROOM AT THE VILLAGE CENTRE, ROGERS LANE, STOKE POGES.
Present:- Cllr Bagge (Chair), Cllr Cox, Cllr Crocker, Cllr Finan, Cllr Fox, Cllr Hoskins, Cllr Lynch & Cllr Taylor.

MINUTES
001/PC/17 – To Elect a Chairman for the coming year.
Cllr FOX proposed that Cllr Bagge be Chairman for the coming year, this was seconded by Cllr Crocker, RESOLVED to agree, all in favour and Cllr Bagge signed the declaration of acceptance of office.
002/PC/17 – To Elect a Vice Chairman for the coming year.
Cllr Lynch proposed that Cllr Carter be Vice Chairman for the coming year, this was seconded by Cllr Taylor, Cllr Carter had left a written offer to re-stand as Vice Chairman if there were no other nominations. RESOLVED to agree, all in favour and Cllr Carter will sign the declaration of acceptance of office upon her return.
003/PC/17 – Police
A report from the police was tabled.
004/PC/17 – Public Session Time (7.30 pm-7.45 pm)
The meeting is open to the public and press and fifteen minutes will be reserved, if required, for public comment.
Four members of public asked questions relating to the pond, Cllr Bagge explained that a consultation will run from the end of May for six weeks, results to be brought back to the September meeting, details of the consultation will be in the next Stoke Poges News.

RESOLVED to approve the minutes of the Council meeting held on 10 April 2017 which were signed by the Chairman.
008/PC/17 – Review of Standing Orders and Financial Regulations and Financial Risk Assessment for 17/18.
RESOLVED to AGREE all in favour no changes to any of the above.
009/PC/17 – RESOLVED to AGREE all in favour to Appoint Committees and keep the same as last year.

011/PC/17 – County Councillor’s Report
Cllr Bagge reported that he was elected on Friday 5 May as the new County Councillor for Stoke Poges, the council congratulated him. Cllr Bagge and the council also thanked Cllr Egleton for his hard work as the previous County Councillor, and wished him well for his retirement.
012/PC/17 – District Councillors’ Report
Cllr Egleton reported that the purchase was now complete on the Tatling End Police Station and they hope to build some new homes for temporary housing. The garage on Bells Hill has also been sold and planning applications are expected.
013/PC/17 – Chairman’s Update from last meeting.
Nothing to update.
014/PC/17 – Village Pond
Cllr Carter left a written a report to say that she has had several conversations with a resident to reassure him that a decision has not been made. The question was asked if the residents could buy the pond. Cllr Carter advised that it be put in writing to the Clerk.
Clerk wrote to all residents of Willow Park.
015/PC/17- Bells Hill Green Working Party
Cllr Carter left a written report to say now that the litter pick is completed she will contact volunteers to do some work on the green. A meeting time will be arranged
016/PC/17 – Litter Picking
Approx. 30 persons turned up who were very enthusiastic. Feed back was very positive that there was a feeling of community. The question has been asked if we could arrange future clean ups. 28 sacks were collected
The committee agreed that the next litter picking date should be Wednesday 6 September 2017 from 6-7pm.
017/PC/17 – Outdoor Cinema 8 September 2017
The 8 Sept has been confirmed. The Clerk is organising the contracts and finances.
If the weather is very bad then the company will postpone our booking and will work with us to find an alternative suitable date.
The price is £1495 plus licences which will bring us to the £2000 agreed cost.
018/PC/17 – Khalsa School
A draft noise agreement plan has been sent through from the EFA. Cllr Carter is working with the Residents Association to make suitable amendments that will be sent back for further comment.
