APPENDIX 2
NEW PLANNING APPLICATIONS RECEIVED
17/01099/FUL The Baobab, Framewood Road, Stoke Poges, Bucks, SL3 6PG
Conversion of existing ancillary outbuilding into a self-contained residential dwelling.
Parish Comments:- In principle we have no objection; however we are concerned it may not comply with GB2A.
This Proposal, if permitted, would be likely to act as a precursor of further applications for similar types of development within this part of the Green Belt, which the District Planning Authority would find increasingly difficult to resist and which, cumulatively, would further seriously prejudice the openness of the Green Belt and the aims and objectives of the Green Belt policy.
17/01036/FUL 3 School Lane, Stoke Poges, Bucks, SL2 4QA
Two storey rear extension.
Parish Comments:- We are concerned about the neighbouring property ‘Mayflower’ and loss of light to their property on the side elevation! Otherwise no objection subject to the 50% Green Belt rules.
17/01061/FUL Pioneer House, Hollybush Hill, Stoke Poges, Bucks, SL2 4QP
External alterations to the existing building including escape stairs, windows, insertion of louvres, new plant and glazed canopy. Creation of multi-use, all weather games pitches and minor relocation and modification of acoustic barrier. Alterations and erection of security fencing, gates and Nishan Sahib.
Parish Comments:- Broken down into sections from the application description:-
- External alterations to the existing building including escape stairs, windows, insertion of louvres, new plant and glazed canopy
Parish Comments:- No Comment
- Creation of multi-use, all weather games pitches.
Parish Comments:- Object to the MUGA policy GB1 (b). We believe this is an intensification of use to the current car park and an incursion into the Green Belt by 15 meters, with no sound mitigation. The site of the MUGA and PITCH is the same size as the main building doubling the size of the built form within the Green Belt. To accommodate the PITCH and MUGA they will need to be located with filled land to raise the level at the southern end of the site, resulting in the fencing appearing even higher and much mor visable. The 3 meter high rebound fence around the PITCH and the 1.8 meter mesh fencing around the MUGA will create noise and amplify it rather than contain is as well as the noise vibrating. The built form of the proposed MUGA is in close proximity to the houses on Hockley Lane raising this site will also increase the travel of noise.
- Modification of acoustic barrier.
Parish Comments:- These were previously agreed before this current application was received, the increase in facilities would therefore necessitate extensions of the barriers. We also believe that any acoustic barriers should be sealed to prevent them being breached by pupils.
- Alterations and erection of security fencing and gates
Parish Comments:- Object, Fencing material and height lend itself to an industrial feel in the Green Belt.
- Nishan Sahib
Parish Comments:- Object as the proposed flagpole is higher than the building, this is a school not a Gurudwara which is a place of worship, see below:
17/01156/FUL 19 Vine Road, Stoke Poges, Bucks, SL2 4DW
Single storey side extension.
Parish Comments:- No comment
17/01190/TPO Sefton Park, Bells Hill, Stoke Poges, Bucks.
T800 Common Lime – reduce dominate stem on the south side of trees crown by 4 meters to suitable growth point to match the similar height of the rest of the crown. T799 – Horse Chestnut – reduce crown height by removing 3-4 meters to reduce wind loading. Reshape the crown to form lower well balanced shape.
Parish Comments:- No objection subject to the arboriculturalists report.
17/01208/FUL 29 Decies Way, Stoke Poges, Bucks, SL2 4EF
Detached dwellinghouse.
Parish Comments:- This application has not addressed the proposal being overbearing and intrusive to the future occupiers of that site. The property would adversely affect the amenities of approved development within its vicinity and is contrary to policies EP3, EP5, H9 and CP8.
17/01218/TPO Orchard House, 3 Freemans Close, Stoke Poges, Bucks, SL2 4ER
T1 – Beech – crown reduction of 2m (TPO No. 13, 2003)
Parish Comments:- No objection subject to the arboriculturalists report.
17/01195/FUL 7 Vine Road, Stoke Poges, Bucks, SL2 4DW
Single storey rear extension and side dormer.
Parish Comments:- No comment
17/01238/TPO 27 Freemans Close, Stoke Poges, Bucks, SL2 4ER

17/01231/FUL Aramghar, Park Road, Stoke Poges, Bucks, SL2 4PJ
Part two storey, part single storey side, rear extension. (Amendment to PP 17/00628/FUL)
Parish Comments:- Object subject to the 50% Green Belt Rules as we believe that this is already developed to its maximum or over!
17/01251/FUL 3 Penn Meadow, Stoke Poges, Bucks, SL2 4EB
Part single/part two storey front/side/rear extension.
Parish Comments:- No Comment
17/0117/8/FUL Grays Mead, Park Road, Stoke Poges, Bucks, SL2 4PA

Front porch. Part single storey/part two storey side/rear extension.
Parish Comments:- No Comment
Full Planning Permission
17/00480/FUL The Old Post Office, Hollybush Hill, Stoke Poges, Bucks, SL2 4PW
Construction of timber fence and elextric sliding gates.
Parish Comments:- No comment subject to highway advice in conjunction with the busy road and the speed camera. We would prefer a hedgerow rather than a 2m fence which would be much softer.
Full Planning Permission
17/00696/FUL Bramshaw House, 8 Duffield Park, stoke Poges, Bucks, SL2 4HY
First floor side extension.
Parish Comments:- No Comment, subject to the GB 50% rules.
Full Planning Permission
17/00825/OUT Temple Cottage, Templewood Lane, Stoke Poges SL2 3HW
Outline application for two detached dwelling houses with formation of vehicular access.
Parish Comments:- Firstly one of the covering letters refers to application 17/00196/FUL which has nothing to do with this application and relates to a house called Foxhollow!!
We object to this application based on the drawings which have no proper measurements, and we cannot make a judgement on the 50% rules. We are also concerned over properties in this area with basements due to the water table in this area. The entrance is a big concern being on such a small road and on a bend, and it will become a busy junction.
Refusal of Outline Planning Permission
17/00770/TPO 26 Elderfield Road, Stoke Poges, Bucks, SL2 4DE
T1 Oak – Crown thinning by 30% (SBDC TPO No 09, 2010)

Parish Comments:- No Comment
Refusal of Planning Permission
17/00879/FUL South Lodge, Rickmans Lane, Stoke Poges, Bucks, SL2 4AF
Two storey rear extension.
Parish Comments:- In principal we have no objections, but believe this is in the Green Belt and has already extended over the 50% green belt rules.
Refusal of Planning Permission
17/00860/NMA Stoke House, 26 Mobbs Close, Stoke Poges, Bucks
Non-Material Amendment to PP 14/02354/FUL: For the small reduction in side of the bin compound and erection of gas meter enclosure.
Non-Material Amendment to PP
NOTED APPEALS
16/02182/RC 1A Clevehurst Close, Stoke Poges, Bucks, SL2 4EP
Removal of condition 9 of PP 05/00096/FUL to allow for permitted development rights to be reinstated.
Parish Comments:- Removal of condition 9 could act as a precursor and we would question why permitted development rights would now be removed after not being given in the first place?
Refusal of removal/variation of condition.
