MINUTES of the Meeting of the Planning Committee held on
Monday 17 September 2018 at 7.30pm in the Lionel Rigby Room at the Village Centre, Rogers Lane, Stoke Poges

Present:- Cllr Carter (Chair), Cllr Crocker, Mr Duncombe & Cllr Taylor.
In Attendance:- Cllr Crocker took the Minutes.
Also present:- 1 member of public.

041/PL/18 Items by Members of Public Present.
The meeting is open to the public and press and the first 15 minutes will be reserved, if required, for
public comment. One member of public came to talk about a house in Plough Lane.

042/PL/18 Apologies for Absence
APOLOGIES were received from the Clerk Mrs Simmonds also Cllr Hoskins and Mr Harris.

RESOLVED TO Approve the Minutes of the Planning Meeting held on 20 August 2018 which were signed by the Chairman.

(i) RESOLVED to approve delegated decisions submitted for Planning Applications for which the response date was prior to this Committee Meeting. See Appendix 1.

Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 RESOLVED to exclude the press and public from the following business because publicity would prejudice the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business. Part two items:- To discuss any possible unlawful buildings or business’s which have not been granted enforcement notices and therefore are not public.

Variation of conditions of pp 10/00810/FUL (Redevelopment of site to provide 3 detached dwellings with detached garages. Construction of vehicular access to allow an amendment to the design of the dwellings known as Islay and Pine Grove.
Parish Council Comments: Object. This development is contrary to H9a and b and EP3d. It does not harmonise
with or enhance the character of the surrounding area. The South Bucks Townscape Character Study states that
in woodland roads the architecture should generally be of asymmetrical and informal composition. They are
not. Also, in our view, they are inappropriately embellished.

Parish Council Comments: Object . We believe that the proposed outbuilding and garage are contrary to
Appendix 8 of the Local Plan and in particular Sections 8.2 and 8.3. With regard to the garage we also believe
this is contrary to Sections 9.1 and 9.3. The buildings also contravene Clause H12.
