Update from Cllr Carter.

163/PC/18 – Vine Road Verges

Item deferred from last meeting and bring back after discussions with the bus company.  To discuss and decide any action.

164/PC/18 – Footpath on Hollybush Hill   

Deferred from last meeting regarding maintenance. Cllr Bagge investigating ownership.  To discuss and decide.

165/PC/18 – Stone

Cllr Carter to table a quote to removing stone from Bells Hill Green and relocate at the Village Centre, to be approved as agreed at the last meeting.

166/PC/18 – Registered Land

To agree to defer again.

167/PC/18 – Pennylets Green/Bollards

Brought back from last meeting after Cllr Bagge agreed to discuss further with County.

168/PC/18 – Parking Enforcement

Brought back from last meeting as Cllr Bagge was still waiting for the procedures to be sent to him.

169/PC/18 – Persimmon Homes

Brought back from last meeting.  Update on whether Cllr Carter has managed to arrange a meeting.

170/PC/18 – Information Board  

Brought back from last meeting regarding the new information board, with consultation details on what to have and where to place the board.

171/PC/18 – Carols on the Green

Update on event.  To agree to purchase a number of large pop up gazebo’s to be used yearly at this event (and others) to alleviate the need for borrowing large marquees which require specialist help in setting up.  Details and quotes circulated.

To agree where to donate the collection this year, suggestion by R & E to put towards a defibrillator somewhere in the village.

172/PC/18 – Pavilion

To note and agree that the scouts would like to hold a fundraising race night on 2 March 2019 at the pavilion to raise funds for a member to attend the Scout World Jamboree in the USA next year.

173/PC/18 – Office

To note that the clerk’s office is currently being cleared to comply with the GDPR and the SLCC guidelines for keeping accounts and data.  To agree that the office can be decorated to match the recent decoration in the LRR.  Reserve funds for the office were transferred back into the General Fund at the end of March 2018.

174/PC/18 – Litter picking for 2019

To agree dates for next year between spring and autumn so that they can be advertised on the notice boards and the next SPN editions. Circulated.

175/PC/18 – Christmas Lights

Request from the Village Centre Manager to use our electrical supply to power their Christmas Lights which will be supplied by the same Company as the Parish Council use, to agree if the Parish Council should pay for the power.

176/PC/18 – Lionel Rigby Room

Request from the Village Centre Manager about a new picture to go into the room.

177/PC/18 – Christmas Hampers

Request from the school about Parish Council involvement in a year six project to make hampers for the elderly.
