MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE FINANCE AND GENERAL PURPOSES COMMITTEE OF THE STOKE POGES PARISH COUNCIL HELD ON MONDAY 12 NOVEMBER 2018 AT 8.55 P.M. FOLLOWING THE FULL PARISH COUNCIL MEETING IN THE LIONEL RIGBY ROOM AT THE VILLAGE CENTRE, STOKE POGES, SL2 4LP
Present:- Cllr Fox (Chair), Cllr Bagge, Cllr Carter, Cllr Finan & Cllr Lynch.

006/F/18 Apologies for Absence
APOLOGIES were received from Cllr Hoskins.
007/F/18 Declarations of Interest
Members to declare any personal interest in any item of business as defined in the Code of Conduct 2012. If that interest is a disclosable pecuniary interest as defined in the Code; the member should withdraw from the meeting for that item.
RESOLVED to approve the minutes of the meeting held on 11 June 2018 which were signed by the
009/F/18 Budget 2019/2020
RESOLVED to consider amounts to be included in the budgets for 2019/2020 (R & E items already agreed) and Cllr Bagge proposed along with all agreed changes be to put forward a recommendation for the Parish Council Meeting to be held on 3 December 2018, this was seconded by Cllr Crocker, RESOLVED to agree all in favour.
Cllr Bagge proposed a 3% increase on last year’s precept therefore the recommended Precept requirement for 2019/20 for approval by the Parish will be £201739.00 for approval at the Council Meeting to be held on 3 December 2018, this was seconded by Cllr Finan, RESOLVED to agree all in favour.
011/F/18 Projects/Reserves/General Fund
Cllr Bagge proposed to consider monies held in the General Fund and Reserves & Consider any new projects be re-discussed at an extra meeting next year on March 25 2019, to then make recommendations to the Council for the cancellation of any existing Reserves and / or any changes to the sums held, this was seconded by Cllr Crocker, RESOLVED to agree all in favour.

013/F/18 Exclusion of the Press & Public
Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 RESOLVED to exclude the press and public from the following business because publicity would prejudice the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business.
014/F/18 Clerks Appraisal/Update
NOTED clerks appraisal has been carried out successfully.
015/F/18 Clerks Salary
RESOLVED to agree clerk’s salary, Cllr Carter proposed a bonus to be paid in December 2018 retrospectively for the past year; in recognition of the clerks good work and value to this council, this was seconded by Cllr Crocker. RESOLVED to agree all in favour.
