PL/18/4433/FA Brookdale, Bells Hill, Stoke Poges, Bucks, SL2 4ED
Redevelopment of site to provide 4 dwellings with associated parking and landscaping. Amended design and change in description.
Parish Comments:- Object, There are no plans for the house to the East side of the development as you enter the site!!!.
Our previous comments apply which were:- We welcome a development of smaller housing stock in the village but have some concern over the lack of sufficient parking. The B416 is a busy road with fast flowing traffic and there is nowhere for overflow parking.
Also it is overlooking and policies EP3 (a), (b), (d) and H9 (a) & (b) both apply.
18/00937/FUL Site of Linkswood, West End Lane, Stoke Poges, Bucks
Erection of brick wall and entrance gates on front boundary. Amended proposal!
Parish Comments:- Object, totally out of keeping. Policies H9 (a) & (b) apply! The South Bucks Townscape Character Study July 2015 item 3.3 applies as this is clearly a Woodland Road and this would not be in keeping, it should have a soft edge to the settlement, mature woodland and hedges are important and should be tall well maintained hedgerows only that are the dominant boundary. This proposal, if permitted, would be likely to act as a precursor of further applications for similar types of development.
