035/RE/21 Football Bells Hill
Update
To note games had to stop again due to lockdown. To discuss and decide about fees for this season.
.036/RE/21 Nettleship Wood
Update on Frank Solari field and other paddocks.
Tennant has reported that in the back field behind the allotment a tree has fallen and taken a portion of the fence out. There seems enough undergrowth etc. preventing the horses from escaping. Will we be repairing? Due to lockdown a sight visit has not been possible, to decide.
037/RE/21 Bells Hill and Plough Lane Recreation Grounds
Update and any decisions as required.
To note during this third lockdown playgrounds are allowed to stay open, but the MUGA has to be kept locked.
To note new zip wire and benches for Plough Lane are in stock and can be fitted as soon as the company can travel to a different area.
To note that the Clerk still needs to action a request from resident to look at the outer footpath in the recreation ground which they claim is in poor repair and difficult for people to walk on particularly elderly and to get quotes and bring back to Full Council.
It was agreed to spend up to £25k to replace all fencing and gates around the two toddler areas. The agreed quote was for the wrong type of fencing and not RoSPA compliant. Three new quotes obtained for several different options of fencing, to decide and agree which one to go with.
038/RE/21 Pavilion
Update and any decisions as required.
To note Pavilion is being checked inside and out by the caretaker several times a week.
039/RE/21 Allotments
Update from Cllr Cox on allotments.
To note updated clauses in the allotment agreement done and sent to all holders with the annual renewal letter, payment confirms acceptance and agreement to abide by it ongoing.
To note that the working party have carried out all of the investigations into allowing child minded children to attend the site, report circulated, to discuss and decide.
040/RE/21 Bells Hill Green
Update on Friends of Bells Hill working party.
To note that the statue will be re-lacquered in the spring as it needs several dry days between coats.
.041/PC/21 Santa Sleigh
To agree what is required for repairing the Santa Sleigh, as previously decided.
042/PC/21 Carols on the Green
To note the date for this year is Saturday 27 November 2021 and to set up a working party.
043/PC/21 Litter Bin by entrance to Bells Hill Recreation Ground
Request from a resident to move the bin elsewhere, to decide.
044/PC/21 Notice Boards
Request from Clerk to replace the current notice boards. Quotes circulated, preference would be the Dual Door 12 x A4 board with optional stainless steel backing for use with magnets. To discuss and decide.
