YOU ARE SUMMONED TO ATTEND THE STOKE POGES FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING TO BE HELD ON MONDAY 22 NOVEMBER 2021 AT 7.30PM, IN THE LIONEL RIGBY ROOM AT

THE VILLAGE CENTRE, ROGERS LANE, STOKE POGES, SL2 4LP

We have a duty of care to our members. Please DO NOT attend if you or anyone in your household has had COVID-19 symptoms in the last 7 days. The main symptoms of COVID are – • A high temperature – this means you feel hot to the touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature) • A new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours. • A loss of change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you have noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal. This meeting follows Covid-secure rules. All participants will be requested to use hand sanitizer when entering and leaving the building and to wear a mask, doors and windows will be open and masks optional once seated.  Please consider whether it is necessary to attend in person.

Members to declare any personal interest in any item of business as defined in the Code of Conduct 2012.  If that interest is a disclosable pecuniary interest as defined in the Code; the member should withdraw from the meeting for that item.

013/F/21              Minutes

To approve the minutes of the meeting held on 7 June 2021 – previously circulated.

014/F/21              Projects/Reserves/General Fund

To consider monies held in the General Fund and Reserves & Consider any new projects.  To make recommendations to the Council for the cancellation of any existing Reserves and / or any changes to the sums held. Circulated. (Note already decided at last meeting:- Cllr Crocker proposed that from the general fund at the end of March 2021 £5000 is transferred to the toddler fencing reserve, £5000 is transferred into the Christmas Lights Reserve and £45000 is transferred into the Green Belt Reserve, leaving sufficient funds for three months running costs if required as advised by the internal auditor, this was seconded by Cllr Bagge, RESOLVED to agree all in favour..)  To decide any further changes.   

015/F/21              Bank Accounts

To decide on transferring funds from Lloyds account elsewhere to spread the risk.

016/F/21              Budget 2022/2023

To consider amounts to be included in the budgets for 2022/2023 and put forward a recommendation for the Parish Council Meeting to be held on 6 December 2021. Circulated.

017/F/21              Precept

To decide the recommended Precept requirement for 2022/23 for approval by the Parish Council Meeting to be held on 6 December 2021.

018/F/21              Exclusion of the Press & Public

Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960

To Resolve to exclude the press and public from the following business because publicity would prejudice the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business.

019/F/21              Financial Budget Decision under adopted equality policy as agreed at Full Council.
