A Parish Meeting is an assembly in which all electors have a right to take part and its resolutions are an expression of the views of the community. 7th April at 08.00 – Main Hall, Village Centre
The full Council will meet in the Lionel Rigby room of the Village Centre on Monday 14 March at 7.30 pm.
Members of the public are welcome to attend. The first 15 minutes are reserved for members of the public to ask questions and raise issues for the Council’s attention.
On the agenda this month are: reports from the police, district and county councillors and a presentation from Reactivate Bucks on fitness initiatives.
Also before the council are a number of recommendations from the Recreation and Environment Committee, covering the allotments and setting up working parties to improve the appearance of verges and public spaces and to ensure our streetcapes preserve the character of the village. The council will consider entering the ‘Best Kept Village’ competition.
The Recreation and Environment (R&E) Committee of the Parish Council meets on Tuesday 1 March at 8 pm in the Lionel Rigby room of the Village Centre. The public is welcome to attend – a 15 minute session is set aside at the start of the meeting for questions and comments.
The R&E Committee has a wide remit – it is responsible for the recs, allotments, bus shelters, dog waste bins, litter picking, etc.
Items on this month’s agenda include: cutting new plots at the allotments; improvements to the recs; and proposals for working parties for Best Kept Village and Jubilee/Olympics street parties. The agenda will be available to download from 24 February and will be displayed on parish notice boards.
