Heritage Walk

Heritage Walk

Stoke Poges is a community built around the ancient manor house at its centre. This heritage walk takes visitors on a circular tour of the small village and some of the most magnificent parts of the Buckinghamshire countryside. Aided by signposts and several information boards, you will be treated to an insight into the way the community grew up.

The Heritage Walk is a beautiful walk any time of year which runs from the start of Stoke Poges Memorial Gardens, runs alongside Stoke Poges Golf Club lakes, across the road between the two lakes (not over the Repton Bridge) and down the western shore of the lower lake in Stoke Park, terminating at the bench in front of the Stoke Park mansion.

The views in summer along this walk are stunning and are of great historical interest. Access to the walk is through the Memorial Gardens, Stoke Lane, by following the HW signs.
