Stoke Poges Table Tennis Club

Stoke Poges Table Tennis Club

Stoke Poges Table Tennis Club must be one of the oldest clubs within Stoke Poges having recently celebrated its 60th Anniversary. Founded in 1950, the roots of the club are easily traceable in all the surrounding competitive leagues of the area with many of its teams finding league and cup success over the years.

In the past, the club has supported teams in all leagues from the premier division downwards but has recently scaled down due to the relocation of the club venue after being removed from Hitachi Data Systems grounds for reasons beyond its control. Unfortunately, it seems corporate responsibility to support the local community is somewhat extinguished of late.

Presently, the club supports three competitive teams in the Division 2 Chalfont League, Division 2 Maidenhead League and Division 3 Maidenhead League. These competitive games take place at the clubs current home venue St. Andrews Church, Rogers Lane on Tuesdays from 7.30 PM.

The club is always looking for new talent of all ages and abilities, so if you or someone you know played in the past or has never played before but is wanting to try it out, come down to the club venue on a Tuesday night and you will be welcomed in to play for only a couple of pounds a night.
