Bucks County Council provides a mobile library service for the village. It is available for use outside the Village Centre, Rogers Lane on:
Wednesday 9.30 am – 12.30 pm
Friday 1.30 pm – 3.45 pm
Saturday 9.30 am – 1.00 pm
The library offers: a good collection of books, non-fiction and fiction for both adults and children and in large print; a large range of DVDs for all ages (£1.10 or £2.20 rental); a selection of talking books (for all ages) and most of the popular monthly magazines.
We have a small seating area for adults, with the local paper on Saturdays. If there is interest we will also supply a daily. There are also special small chairs for children next to the picture books.
We cannot carry as much stock as a branch so we make up for this by rotating stock with other libraries each week. As well as all this we are more than willing to get involved in discussions on a wide range of topics! Loans are for 4 weeks on everything and you can borrow up to 20 items on your card.
To join the library you need to provide a form of identification with a signature and proof of your address.
