Planning Committee

The Parish Council Planning Committee considers applications in the parish of Stoke Poges its area at a meeting every month, and makes representations to Buckinghamshire Council who are the Planning Authority. The Planning Committee also considers major local and regional planning issues, and planning policy matters.

The Parish Council is not the Local Planning Authority, therefore has no powers to determine the outcome of planning applications but is a statutory consultee who will submit comments supported by Planning Policies. Applications are then decided by Buckinghamshire Council.

We have public speaking time at our meetings so that members of the public can come and discuss their thoughts and concerns with the committee.

The Planning Committee meets on the third Monday of every month, except August.
