What's On in Stoke Poges

Come along to enjoy tea and cake while raising funds for the Friends of Stoke Poges Memorial Gardens.

A chance to meet others who are living with the loss of a loved one, to chat and support each other in a relaxed, supportive space.

The fifth meeting of the Poetry Group will be held at 2pm on Tuesday 7th July in the Lighthouse Café.

The theme we've chosen is 'Childhood'. However, don't feel you have to stick with this. If you think there's a poem we should hear, or something we should know about, we want to hear from you. Hope to see you there.

For this month’s WI talk, our speaker is Michael Kerry White – a BAFTA nominated actor, award winning writer and an accomplished public speaker.

The WI offers friendship, community support, educational opportunities, new activities and fun. Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month, 2.15pm - 4pm at Stoke Poges Village Hall.

A community group including workshops and information around health and wellbeing. This month's topic is nutrition and healthy eating.

This project is a collaboration between Stoke Poges Parish Council, Carers Bucks, Threeways Surgery and NHS Buckinghamshire. Guest speakers and workshops will be planned monthly and there will be an opportunity to speak confidentially if preferred.

This much-loved event, with a history spanning well over a century, remains one of the longest-running shows of its kind in the area. This year’s theme, ‘Celebrating 100 Years of David Attenborough’, promises to inspire a fantastic range of imaginative and creative entries!
