Introduction
MINUTES OF THE STOKE POGES FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING HELD ON MONDAY 23 JUNE 2025 AT 7.30PM, IN THE LIONEL RIGBY ROOM AT THE VILLAGE CENTRE, ROGERS LANE, STOKE POGES, SL2 4LP.
Present: Cllr Crocker (Chair), Cllr Bassi, Cllr Finan, Cllr Harwood, Cllr Pritchard & Cllr Wilson.
In Attendance: Mrs J Simmonds (Clerk)
Agenda Items
001/F/25- To Elect a Chairman for the coming year.
Cllr Finan proposed that Cllr Crocker be Chair for the coming year, this was seconded by Cllr Harwood, RESOLVED to agree all in favour.
002/F/25 - To Elect a Vice Chairman for the coming year.
Cllr Bassi proposed that Cllr Finan be Vice Chairman for the coming year, this was seconded by Cllr Wilson, RESOLVED to agree all in favour
003/F/25 - Public Session Time (15 Minutes)
The meeting is open to the public and press and fifteen minutes will be reserved, if required, for public comments on items on the agenda.

004/F/25 - Apologies and Acceptance for Absence
APOLOGIES were received and accepted for Cllr Carter.
005/F/25 - Declarations of Interest
Members to declare any personal interest in any item of business as defined in the Code of Conduct 2021. If that interest is a disclosable pecuniary interest as defined in the Code, the member should withdraw from the meeting for that item.

006/F/25 - Minutes
RESOLVED to approve the minutes of the meeting held on 25 November 2024 which were signed by the Chair.
007/F/25 - Projects/Reserves/General Fund
CONSIDERED monies held in the General Fund and Reserves & Consider any new projects. To make recommendations to the Council for the cancellation of any existing Reserves and / or any changes to the sums held. Cllr Finan proposed the following movements from the General Fund to earmarked reserves, this was seconded by Cllr Bassi, RESOLVED to agree all in favour:
Staff Sickness Reserve: Plus £2000
Bells Hill Jogging Path: Plus £10000
Add Local Charity/Not-for-Profit/Grants: Plus £5000
Pond Maintenance Reserve: Plus £2350
Planning Matters/Expenses: Plus £15000
Total Movement £34250.00
008/F/25 – HR Committee
Cllr Finan proposed to agree to set up an HR Committee consisting of three members which should include the Chair of the Parish Council, so Cllr Carter, Cllr Crocker and Cllr Harwood to deal with all things HR and for them to report back to the Finance Committee, this was seconded by Cllr Bassi, RESOLVED to agree all in favour.
