Introduction

MINUTES OF THE STOKE POGES FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING HELD ON MONDAY 24 NOVEMBER 2025 AT 7.30PM, IN THE LIONEL RIGBY ROOM AT THE VILLAGE CENTRE, ROGERS LANE, STOKE POGES, SL2 4LP.

Present: Cllr Crocker (Chair), Cllr Bassi, Cllr Carter, Cllr Finan & Cllr Wilson

In Attendance: Mrs J Simmonds (Clerk)

Absent: Cllr Harwood.

Agenda Items

010/F/25 - Public Session Time (15 Minutes)

The meeting is open to the public and press and fifteen minutes will be reserved, if required, for public comments on items on the agenda.

None

011/F/25 - Apologies and Acceptance for Absence

APOLOGIES were received from Cllr Pritchard.

012/F/25 - Declarations of Interest

Members to declare any personal interest in any item of business as defined in the Code of Conduct 2021. If that interest is a disclosable pecuniary interest as defined in the Code, the member should withdraw from the meeting for that item.

013/F/25 - Minutes

RESOLVED to approve the minutes of the meeting held on 23 June 2025 which were signed by the Chair.

014/F/25 – To agree price increases for the following for the budgets for the financial year 2026/2027.

Cllr Carter proposed the following increases, these were seconded by Cllr Wilson, RESOLVED to agree all in favour.

Football Teams

To consider and decide annual rent costs for 2026/27 for budgets for all teams. AGREED no

increase as no team this year. Wait until new agreement is completed.

Paddocks

To consider and decide rent costs for grazing contracts and annual increase for 2026/27 for budget. AGREED 0% increase on both.

Pavilion

To consider and decide annual rent costs for 2026/27 in new pavilion for budgets for all the

uniformed groups. AGREED 0% increase for all uniformed groups.

Allotments

To consider and decide rent costs and annual increase for 2026 for budget. AGREED increase of £2.00 on a full plot and £1.00 on

Tennis Club

To consider and decide rent costs and annual increase for 2026/27 for budget. AGREED 4% increase.

SBALC

Cllr Carter proposed to ratify the agreement to join at a cost of £20 per year, agreed at Full Council on 10/11/25, this was seconded by Cllr Bassi, RESOLVED to agree all in favour.

015/F/25 – To agree any payment increases for the following for 2026/27

Cllr Carter proposed the following payment increases, these were seconded by Cllr Wilson, RESOLVED to agree all in favour.

Playground Inspections/Litter Picking

To consider and decide on any annual increase for 2026/27 for budget. AGREED 5% increase.

Pavilion Management

To consider and decide on any annual increase for 2026/27 for budget. AGREED theweekly rate to increase to £35.00.

MUGA Opening/Closing

To consider and decide on any annual increase for 2026/27 for budget. AGREED to leave at £25.00 per month.

Stoke Poges Newsletter Deliverers

To consider and decide on any annual increase for 2026/27 for budget. AGREED to increase the delivery per copy to 18p.

016/F/25 - Budget 2026/2027

CONSIDERED the amounts to be included in the budgets for 2026/2027 and Cllr Finan proposed that a recommendation be put forward for the Parish Council Meeting to be held on 1 December 2025, this was seconded by Cllr Bassi, RESOLVED to agree all in favour.

017/F/25 - Precept

CONSIDERED the recommended Precept requirement for 2026/27 and Cllr Carter proposed that there would be no increase for 26/27 and that a recommendation be put forward for approval by the Parish Council Meeting to be held on 1 December 2025 will be £182102.89 this was seconded by Cllr Bassi, RESOLVED to agree all in favour.

018/F/25 – NOTED Date of next meeting: - May/June/July 2026. To be agreed.
