Introduction
MINUTES OF THE FULL PARISH COUNCIL MEETING OF THE STOKE POGES PARISH COUNCIL HELD ON MONDAY 8 JUNE 2026 AT 7.30PM IN THE LIONEL RIGBY ROOM AT THE VILLAGE CENTRE, ROGERS LANE, STOKE POGES BUCKS, SL2 4LP.
Present: Cllr Carter (Chair), Cllr Crocker, Cllr Pritchard & Cllr Wilson

030/PC/26 - Apologies and Acceptance for Absence.
APOLOGIES were received and accepted from Cllr Bassi, Cllr Finan and Cllr Harwood.
031/PC/26 - Declarations of interest
Members to declare any personal interest in any item of business as defined in the Code of Conduct adopted 2021. If that interest is a disclosable pecuniary interest as defined in the Code, the member should withdraw from the meeting for that item.

032/PC/26 - Minutes
RESOLVED to approve the minutes of the Council meeting held on 13 April 2026 which were signed by the Chair.
033/PC/26– Review of Standing Orders, Financial Regulations and all adopted Policies.
Cllr Carter proposed adopting the updated Standing Orders and Financial Regulations which were
Approved at Finance on 1 June 2026, this was seconded by Cllr Wilson. RESOLVED to agree all in
favour.
Policies not completed in time for this meeting. AGREED by all to defer to the July meeting.
034/PC/26 – Southeast Bucks Board
Nothing to update from Cllr Bassi
035/PC/26 – SBALC
Nothing to update from Cllr Carter.
036/PC/26 - Buckinghamshire Council Report
Nothing to update on any issues Cllrs Moore and Dhillon
037/PC/26 – Chairman’s/Councilor’s Update from last meeting.
Cllr Carter and Cllr Dhillon met with an officer from County regarding the bird cage fencing at Hastings Meadow, everything now has to go through the design team at county. An email will be sent to set up a meeting.
Cllr Carter and Cllr Crocker will be meeting again with Comer Homes regarding Stoke Court.
Cllr Carter and Cllr Crocker met with two agents from Purcell who are the consultancy firm for Bucks for the extension of the Stoke Green Conservation Area. Positive meeting and they are moving forward.
Cllr Carter and Cllr Crocker are meeting with Wexham Park Gold Club on 19 June and WWFC on 18 June regarding pre-submission of applications.
038/PC/26 – Buckinghamshire Council Local Plan
Update on spatial planning document. Not much to update, infrastructure evidence is required next.
039/PC/26 – Buckinghamshire Land Sales/Lease
Brought back from last meeting which was agreed would be the last time. NOTED clerk has not yet written, waiting for help from Cllr Harwood. AGREED to keep on the agenda and to ask Cllr Harwood if he would like another Councillor to step in and help.
040/PC/26 – Football Club
NOTED that the club were very grateful for the grant towards the goals.
NOTED request from the club to hire out the Pavilion on a Friday evening for a Mini Kickers style group. NOTED further update from the club and a request to use the facilities on a Sunday.
It was AGREED by all that the first season was to be a Saturday team only with a training session one evening (Wednesday) for a trial only basis to see how things work out for both parties. Clerk to write and explain and to ask a few agreed questions of the club. Bring back for further discussion to July meeting.
041/PC/26 – Tennis Club Lease
NOTED that the lease is now complete and contents have been queried by the Tennis Club. NOTED we have now asked them to engage their own legals to get advice as the lease issued is standard. NOTED they have been billed for the 1 quarter of this year but there is no current lease in place. DSICUSSED & AGREED by all to write and ask for a decision on the lease by 1 July 2026 deadline. Bring back to July meeting for further discussion and decision on how to proceed going forward.
042/PC/26 – Pedestrian Gate Request
NOTED request to put a pedestrian gate leading onto the driveway of Bells Hill Rec. NOTED this was declined last month but new information has come to light. Cllr Wilson proposed that fitting a gate onto our boundary fencing was not acceptable and to decline the request, this was seconded by Cllr Crocker, RESOLVED to agree all in favour.

048/PC/26 - Exclusion of the Press & Public
Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 RESOLVED to exclude the press and public from the following business because publicity would prejudice the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business.

Discussed and decided a way forward agreed by all.
