Introduction

MINUTES OF THE STOKE POGES HR COMMITTEE MEETING TO BE HELD ON WEDNESDAY 8 OCTOBER 2025 AT 4.00PM, IN THE LIONEL RIGBY ROOM AT THE VILLAGE CENTRE, ROGERS LANE, STOKE POGES, SL2 4LP.

Present: Cllr Harwood (Chair), Cllr Crocker, Cllr Carter.

012/HR/25 - Public Session Time (15 Minutes)

The meeting is open to the public and press and fifteen minutes will be reserved, if required, for public comments on items on the agenda.

013/HR/25 - Apologies and Acceptance for Absence

None

014/HR/25 - Declarations of Interest

Members to declare any personal interest in any item of business as defined in the Code of Conduct 2021. If that interest is a disclosable pecuniary interest as defined in the Code, the member should withdraw from the meeting for that item.

015/HR/25 Exclusion of the Press & Public

Public Bodies (Admission to Meetings) Act 1960 RESOLVED to exclude the press and public from the following business because publicity would prejudice the public interest by reason of the confidential nature of the business.

016/HR/25 – Review Procedure Documents. To discuss and make any decisions.

Job Description Clerk & RFO. Draft previously circulated – DISCUSSED and decided to bring back to January meeting.

Contract current and proposed and The Green Book. Draft previously circulated – DISCUSSED and as number (1) bring back to January meeting.

NOTED Outside advice. To wait for BMKALC presentation in November.

017/HR/25 – Policies and Standing Orders

NOTED that the policies have not been looked at yet by the Clerk and that we can ask BMKALC to help look at them as well as the Standing Orders and Code of Conduct in conjunction with NALC, if we join.

018/HR/25 – Appraisal

NOTED that the Clerks appraisal has taken place.

019/HR/25 – Title

DISCUSSED and decided possibly changing the title from Clerk to something else, bring back to January meeting.

4.30pm – The Clerk left for the remainder of the meeting.

020/HR/25 – Clerks Salary

Resolution decided to bring back to January meeting.

021/HR/25 – NOTED Date of next meeting: 20 January 2025
